Space Force - Sr Advanced Systems Engineer - Configuration Management

Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - eCCM Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Leadership in designing and implementing Configuration Management systems for Data Centers

Experience leading teams responsible for network configuration management and IT service management

Experience with IT equipment configuration management databases

Experience with managing the tracking and deployment of software updates across an enterprise

Experience with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow

Experience working with multiple software suppliers to manage and track their planned version update cycles

Combined Salary Range

USD $139,189.00 - USD $154,412.00 /Yr.
