The Regional Asset Protection Manager will report to the Senior Manager, Asset Protection. The Regional Asset Protection Manager will support Field Operations with day-to-day responsibilities related to merchandise and payment shrink, fuel loss, internal, external theft and fraud investigations, critical incident response and physical security for a designated region of Global Partner stores.

Develop and communicate district AP strategies and priorities, including tactical plans, training and expectations, to your team, peers and leadership
Drive district results on prevention, resolution and apprehension on theft, both internal and external, according to compliance standards and proper documentation
Resolve alerts and organized retail crime cases in partnership with field and HQ partners
Lead safety programs and best practices within a district and evaluate injury trends to prevent future incidents
Comply with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and state laws
Establish and execute processes for investigating shrink-related issues in stores; theft, vendor and receiving accuracy, inventory counts, system issues and more
Field inbound leads and intelligence from Operations Supervisors regarding integrity concerns in their stores
Effectively document all theft investigations, crimes, and acts of violence that take place at stores within the designated region
Respond to and support stores in times of crisis and critical incidents, such as robberies and acts of violence
Routinely monitor stores for physical security opportunities such as security guard execution, loitering and unwanted guest behavior to develop thoughtful recommendations for increased efficiency across the business
Monitor and review exception reporting produced by various analytics teams; Conducting investigations when exceptions result in the detection of dishonest activity or operational shrink concerns
Document and report on financial impacts related to shrink, sales growngrowth and other financial benefits to the business
Leverage knowledge of Asset Protection, standard Retail Operations, inventory controls, and data analytics to uncover accurate information about investigations and make recommendations around process or internal control enhancements
Support Human Resources teams during integrity investigations requiring employment decisions
Actively partner with the Director of Asset Protection to prioritize current casework and investigations

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (management, logistics, business administration, financial management, production/operations management, criminal justice, safety) is preferred
3+ years of experience in a field or corporate retail Asset Protection/Loss Prevention leadership role with a demonstrated ability to think tactfully and influence key business leaders.
Professional (LPP), Certified Forensic Investigator (CFI), preferred
Skills in business financials (e.g., payroll, profit and loss) and driving shortage reduction
Skills in driving business and market specific strategies by leveraging data and metrics and partnering with store and district leadership to deliver results through your team
Ability to influence and provide thoughtful feedback to key partners
Ability to partner with senior leadership to clearly understand Asset Protection/Loss Prevention processes and act autonomously to drive key business initiatives
Willingness to be a true “voice” by sharing experiences and knowledge to increase engagement of other Global Partners team members in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention operations
Experience conducting investigations and handling sensitive information
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business while also having the capability to travel weekly up to 70% of the time
