CNC Programmer

Location: Romulus, MI

Salary: $26–$36 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Develop CNC programs for both vertical and horizontal Haas milling machines using Mastercam.

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to guide programming and machine setup.

Perform inspections of finished parts using precision measurement tools, adjusting processes to meet stringent tolerances.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance machining efficiency and quality.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols while maintaining an organized work environment.

Assist with CNC lathe operations as required.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing or job shop environment.

Proficiency in Mastercam, specifically for milling operations.

Hands-on experience with Haas vertical and horizontal milling machinery.

Strong capability in reading and interpreting engineering and technical documentation.

Expertise in precision measurement and understanding of machining principles including speeds, feeds, and tooling.

Experience with CNC lathes is advantageous but not mandatory.
