Transfer Student Support Specialist

McMurry University seeks Transfer student support specialist who provides a vital role in supporting the holistic success of transfer students. The position is responsible for fostering the academic, personal, and social development of transfer students by providing individualized coaching, proactive guidance, coordinating student needs with relevant campus resources, encouraging student engagement and retention, and providing bilingual support during summer registration. This position reports to the Director of the STEM Student Success Center, coordinating with the Registrar, the Advising Office, Student Affairs, the Assistant Director of Admission for Transfer and Online Recruitment, and other staff members.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in student services or related field. Familiar with transfer credit evaluation process and articulation agreements. Fluency in Spanish. Experience working with and serving first generation & low-income students.
