Job Description

We are seeking a passinate Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic mental illnesses

Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments

Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures

Facilitate referrals to other departments

Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

PMHNP-BC in Texas

At least 1 year of experience in the role of Psych NP

Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields, preferable in mental health

Ability to build rapport with patients

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration and physicians

Strong leadership skills

Stress resistant

Bi lingual (Spanish) is a plusCompany Description
