Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Product Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD design—preferably SolidWorks—and a deep understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between product development and manufacturing, ensuring designs are both innovative and production-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine mechanical product designs using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
Modify and optimize existing designs for improved manufacturability and cost-efficiency
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance
Apply knowledge of materials and mechanical processes to create functional, high-quality products
Interpret and apply GD&T standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design
Proficiency in SolidWorks (or comparable CAD software)
Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes such as machining, riveting, and use of mechanical fasteners
Working knowledge of GD&T principles
Effective communication and collaboration skills
