Job Description
Looking for a plumbing apprentice. No prior skill is necessary. Employee will spend a year as an apprentice before running (drain cleaning/hydro jetting) jobs by themselves. Employee will learn to maintain equipment, order and maintain stock, make deliveries to field technicians, and assist field technicians on the job.
Michigan plumbing apprenticeship is 3 years, employee will be registered as an apprentice on day one. After 3 years they will be able to test as a journeyman plumber.
Employee will start at $15 per hour with a $2 raise after 90 days. After one year, employee may test to be promoted to drain technician and make $20 per hour plus bonuses.Company Description
We are a small hydro jetting, drain cleaning and pipelining specific plumbing company. We get along very well and and have a good work atmosphere. We do not work nights, we rarely work weekends, and we do not have on-call. We do work hard during the day and we never know what time we will be off (just the nature of the service business) though it is usually somewhere between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
