Annual Salary: ¥4,500,000 – ¥8,000,000

Overview

This is an in-house development role based on full project outsourcing (prime contracting).

You will be responsible for leading a project team composed mainly of junior to mid-level engineers within our company.

Projects involve developing web applications for major clients, including:

Real estate companies

Cosmetics brands

Distance learning service providers

Publishing houses

All projects are multi-device compatible (PCs, tablets, smartphones).

Project Details

Development Type: In-house (full outsourcing)

Team Size: 3–7 in-house engineers + several external collaborators

Project Duration: A few months to up to 1 year

B2C: 70%

B2B: 30%

Requirements

Must-Have:

Experience as a system engineer (any language or development phase)

Japanese language proficiency (N1 level or equivalent)

Nice-to-Have:

Experience as a team lead in web application development

Familiarity with technologies such as Java, C#, .NET, etc.

Work Conditions

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour break)

Holidays: Weekends, national holidays, year-end & New Year holidays, summer vacation

Other Leave: Golden Week, 10–20 days of paid leave per company policy

Note: Employees often return to work on reduced hours after maternity/childcare leave

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: ¥4,500,000 – ¥8,000,000

Includes fixed overtime pay of ¥93,750–¥166,500/month for 30 hours

Additional pay for overtime exceeding 30 hours

Monthly Salary Range: Approx. ¥375,000 – ¥666,000

Raises: Once per year

Bonuses: Twice per year

Average Monthly Working Hours: Approx. 150 hours
