The Eden Resort & Suites Host will be the first point of contact for our guests, welcoming them with a warm and friendly demeanor. Must be at least 16 years of age. May be expected to work weekends or holidays.

$12 hourly to start DOEResponsibilities:

Greet incoming and departing guests warmly, escort them to assigned dining areas, present menus, and announce the server’s name.

Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference.

Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.

Tend to special guest needs and requests.

Manage the seating chart.

Put guests on waitlists and manage the list.

Receive takeout orders and use the POS.

Assist dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages.

Various side work.

Issue dining charges, verify orders, and calculate taxes, and total bills for to-go orders.

Receive payments by validating credit charges, approving checks, and accepting currency.

Reconcile cash drawer, prove cash transactions, list checks and credit card charges for to-go orders.

Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

Upbeat and outgoing individual.

Able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills.

Able to work positively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong teamwork skills.

Customer service orientated ensures each guest has an excellent experience.

Education And Experience Required:

At least one (1) year of restaurant experience, is preferred.About Company
