Job Description
Position purpose
Under general direction of assembly supervision, pack cell operators shall package parts after assembly to stock or to ship.
Qualification Guidelines
· Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident NOT applicant or work visa holder) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)

· Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
· 100% adherence to processes of packaging parts to the work instructions as provided.
· Attention to detail is a must
· Must work in a team environment, and show ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner with team members
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining proper quality specifications
· Ability to pack at rate
· Ability to safely operate tape dispensers, safety knives, and other pack related tools.
· Ability to work with common cleaning solvents (denatured alcohol) and adhesives
· Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. IE: work instructions
· Pursue ongoing goal of cost reductions
· Responsible for assuring the conformity of packing requirements to customer requirements
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
· Requires ability to push/pull at approximately shoulder height
· Maximum lifting requirement is approximately 50 lbs, infrequently
· Break times are scheduled and enforced
Skill, training, or educational requirements
This is an entry-level warehouse position requiring a good work ethic and the ability to speak (or write) and understand English sufficiently to receive training, interact with coworkers and team leaders, and read and complete paperwork. Through in-house training, advancement is possible.
