Position Overview
This position supports International's overall compliance with IFRS.
Responsibilities
Research and resolution of significant and / or non-routine transactions, including but not limited to: revenue recognition, leasing, joint arrangements and consolidation, derivatives, impairments, acquisitions and divestitures
Active engagement with the Corporate Development Group, senior management and business operations on various proposed transactions and agreements
Partner with the business by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations
Exposure to a global leader, TRATON SE
Prepare and review technical accounting position papers
Monitor and advise senior management on developments in accounting pronouncements and analyze the related accounting, policy and reporting impacts
Lead and assist in the implementation of new accounting standards
Implement and enhance formal processes for obtaining and analyzing information gathered from business units for quarterly reviews over certain processes
Work with internal and external auditors
Ensure compliance with applicable internal control standards related to area of responsibility
Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least 6 years of accounting/financial reporting experience
3 years leadership experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and CPA
At least 6 years of accounting/financial reporting experience
3 years leadership experience
OR
Master’s degree in Accounting
At least 5 years of accounting/financial reporting experience
3 years leadership experience
OR
Master’s degree and CPA
At least 5 years of accounting/financial reporting experience
3 years leadership experience
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
Current CPA required
Big four public accounting experience a plus
Strong understanding of IFRS a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter and has the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
