The position requires someone who can address problem resolution in a large enterprise environment. Activities include Linux systems administration tasks such as operating system installations, (physical and virtual), OS and hardware troubleshooting.

Six or more years of experience as a Linux system administrator managing systems in an enterprise environment consisting of hundreds of systems
Experience in O/S installation, Software, Hardware and Patch management
Able to debug/troubleshoot OS and hardware issues
Hands-on experience of system management, system setup and managing Linux based systems as well as configuring them
Able to develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
Knowledge of scripting languages and ability to implement when needed.
Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all system resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.
Able to work independently or with minimal supervision
Candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be a self-starter.

Experience with Ubuntu Linux.
Experience with Automation Tools
Experience with writing technical documentation skills including standards, policies and procedures
Training or certifications in one or more of the following: Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux, VMware
Experience with researching and recommending innovative automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage resources.
Experience with Puppet Enterprise
Experience with Service Now IT Ticketing Application
Experience with CyberArk
Clearance
Ability to acquire Secret clearance preferred
