Description:

Our Tactical Data Links (TDL) Test Flight (TGBC) Advanced Programs test team is searching for a mid-level System Administrator that can help us establish and maintain the necessary infrastructure to support multiple test programs supporting the United States Air Force’s (USAF) premier TDL Developmental Test (DT) Team.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment and being on the cutting edge of innovative communications technology, this is the place for you. We provide opportunities to learn and grow, ranging from on-the-job training with other team members to in-house courses for unique technology areas.

We realize that no one will have all these qualifications. We are looking for people that have a strong system administration foundation and have the drive and motivation to learn all other required areas. Position responsibilities can span from customized test configurations to lab infrastructure support.

This position provides support for the 46 Test Squadron/TGBC at Eglin AFB and with travel to various offsite locations. This is NOT a remote position. This support includes the following:

Build systems from Secure Host Baseline (SHB) images.

Perform program scripting in PowerShell to support system automation.

Create and manage system user accounts in accordance with policies and directives.

Conduct system troubleshooting and workstation maintenance.

Diagnose and resolve errors during test and distributed events.

Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.

Support DT enclave assessment and authorization in line with DoD and USAF instructions.

Support any additional test activities assigned by TGBC leadership.
