Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in support of a major ERP modernization initiative for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and Navy clients. The ideal candidate will serve as a servant leader and coach, helping teams embrace Agile principles and frameworks to deliver mission-critical capabilities as part of a complex, enterprise-level transformation.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Coach teams on Agile/Scrum practices to increase efficiency, delivery, and team collaboration

Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress while shielding them from outside distractions

Partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs and ensure well-defined, prioritized user stories

Track and communicate team metrics and progress to stakeholders and leadership

Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and other Scrum Masters to align with larger program-level goals under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

3+ years of experience working in Agile environments, with 2+ years as a Scrum Master.

Experience with agile project management best practices.

Extensive experience facilitating contracts, budgets in an agile context.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally.

Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in federal or DoD environments preferred; understanding of Navy IT systems is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Clearance:

Requires an active Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.

Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.

Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
