Your Team, Your ImpactThe Accountant is responsible for managing and reporting of financial information in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to ensure compliance to Company's policies, US GAAP and Singapore accounting standards.
We looking for an Accountant to support our role in Accounts Payable function, liaising with various functions across the company, and with the larger Finance organization (e.g. Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Internal Audit, etc.).
What You Can Expect
• Process trade and non-trade vendor invoices.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.
• Provide weekly payment forecast.
• Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
• Perform vendor banking verification and timely update into system.
• Monthly verification and reconciliation of Vendors' statements to our system.
• Handle vendors' audit confirmations.
• Support quarterly GST and SOX audit requirements.
• Support any other ad-hoc assignments or projects.
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Preferable with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and knowledge of Oracle R12 will be an added advantage.
• An effective team player who has excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly accurate, thorough, with strong attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
• Detailed oriented, self-driven and must be willingly to take a hands-on-approach in problem solving.
• Highly collaborative, proactive, responsive, and reliable.
• Creative person with strong interpersonal skills and ability to contribute to our culture.
• Takes a customer service-oriented approach.
• Strong organizational skills.
