Role Overview

The Branch Manager role is responsible for creating a team atmosphere, providing structure, and training while overseeing inventory management, team development, customer relations, and overall financial performance and growth. This role works with leadership to meet or exceed goals of revenue, customer satisfaction, and ensuring we have the right person in the right seat.

What you will do:

Be a leader and team player by providing supervision, support, and training to the branch sales and site operations team members.â â

Serve andâ coach the team in developing and maintaining outstanding service to MNI Direct lifetime customers.â â

Create a positive and challenging environment which is conducive to high performance and teamwork, and a great place to work until the job is done right.â â

Own an incident-free environment by emphasizing safety daily, leading by example, involving all team members, promoting a safety culture, achieving excellent housekeeping and workplace organization, and executing clear safety policies.â â

Plan and coordinate inventory, operation times, delivery schedules, and pick-upâ arrangements basedâ on customer needs and sales plans.â â â

Operate a prompt, accurate, andâ customer-orientedâ local delivery system.

Create and maintain aâ cost-effectiveâ inventory system to ensure complete orders with fresh,â high-qualityâ plant material.â â

Provide timely input to reviews and analyzes all business aspects of the branch operations, including P&L responsibilities and ownership.â

Provide information for operations, sales, and other business metrics.â â

Plan, develop, maintain, andâ overseeâ yard facility and equipment for the branch.â â

Coordinate the purchase, reception, and turnover of plant material.

Train, supervise, andâ oversee safe operations of all facets of branch activities.â â

Prepare performance-related documents (appraisals & disciplinary) as necessary and submit to upper management for review, then to Human Resourcesâ â

Communicate with human resources regarding personnel and policy for branch.

Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Educationâ /Experience:

High School diploma required.â â

Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferredâ â

5-6â yearsâ of management experience in a related industryâ â

Skills and Trainingâ â

Must be a leader; able to inspire others to achieve outstanding results.â â

Above average knowledge of business management

Strong communication, organization, and time management skillsâ â

Have excellent general computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite Applications.â â

Possess expert Customer Service skillsâ â

Ability to visualize problems and developâ solutions,â especially in customer and personnel matters.â â

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged sitting, standing, walking,â and lifting of more than 30 lbs.â â

Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule

Ability to work in severe weatherâ conditions,â both heat and coldâ â
