We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with a background in general contracting or owner's representation to lead the successful delivery of complex tenant improvement (TI), interior renovation, and remodel projects for a top tier client of ours. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing construction projects for clients in the commercial real estate, manufacturing, and light industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
Act as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and quality control measures
Oversee procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and change management processes
Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and building code requirements
Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve issues that may impact timelines or client satisfaction
Prepare and present regular project reports to internal and external stakeholders
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and project coordinators
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in construction project management with a focus on commercial tenant improvements and interior build-outs
Background in general contracting or owner's representative roles is required
Strong understanding of commercial real estate construction processes and terminology
Demonstrated experience managing manufacturing and/or light industrial facility projects is preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
