Instrumentation and Control Engineer

Job Title: I&C Engineer

Location: Lake Charles Refinery (Onsite)

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Pay: $70-85/HR (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

Coordinate projects using the FEL process, ensuring standards compliance and securing funding.

Develop cost-effective designs, coordinating with other engineering disciplines to meet scope, budget, and schedule.

Design and maintain instrumentation and control systems, including Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).

Write specifications, conduct Factory Acceptance Tests, and support construction and turnarounds.

Requirements

Experience: 5-8 years in engineering, with 2+ years in maintenance and/or engineering experience with emphasis on instrumentation and controls

OR recent engineering graduate with relating experience (Co-op experience), (role and pay will be different)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (or related).

Skills: Expertise in Safety Instrumented Systems lifecycle.

DCS systems knowledge

SIS knowledge

No per diem, but a split may be available for non-local candidates

Local to Louisiana is preferred.
