We are seeking a meticulous and skilled QC Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products adhere to the highest quality standards before they reach our customers. The QC Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, testing, and maintaining documentation in line with various industry standards.

Job Overview

The QC Inspector is tasked with verifying the quality and compliance of products through detailed inspections and testing. This includes ensuring alignment with ISO 9000, AS9100, AIG AQPQ, and APQP standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with production teams to detect and address any quality discrepancies, thereby safeguarding product integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection and Testing: Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision instruments. Conduct First Article Inspections to validate initial production samples meet all requirements.

Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record inspection results and quality assurance activities. Prepare detailed inspection and non-conformance reports, and manage document control for easy access and retrieval.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure all inspection processes comply with relevant standards and maintain necessary documentation for regulatory adherence.

Problem Identification and Resolution: Identify quality issues, report them to management, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement: Engage in root cause analysis, recommend process improvements, and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.

Training and Development: Assist in training production staff on quality standards and stay updated on industry best practices and tools.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

3-5 years of experience in quality inspection within industrial, automotive, or aerospace sectors.

Preferred certifications: Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), Certified Quality Technician (CQT), or similar.

Strong understanding of ISO 9000 and AQPQ standards.

Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and quality management software.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
