Position Summary
This position conducts testing on software, websites, and other technical products produced by Alliance to identify and resolve bugs, defects, and other potential issues. This position works under moderate supervision and has full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities
Create and modify simple to moderately complex test plans
Work with cross-team staff to ensure that requirements are well understood
Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product with team members
Identify appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards
Conduct testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines
Identify, log, and recreate error codes, bugs, and defects
Report defects to programmers when a product does not perform within specifications
