Salary: Comensurate with Experience

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Manager oversees all day-to-day operations of the warehouse to

ensure efficient, safe, and organized storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This

role is responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, maintaining

inventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

Plan, organize, and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Ensure

inventory is handled efficiently and accurately.

Staff Management:

Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse employees. Schedule shifts and

delegate tasks to ensure productivity.

Inventory Control:

Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and

reconciliations. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce warehouse safety protocols, conduct safety training, and ensure OSHA

compliance. Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.

Shipping & Receiving:

Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate

processing. Coordinate with logistics providers and transportation partners.

Equipment & Maintenance:

Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet

jacks, etc.) and schedule necessary repairs or inspections.

Process Improvement:

Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in storage layout, inventory

handling, and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, Associate or Bachelors degree in

Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

35+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or

managerial role.

Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control

software.

Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures.

Forklift certification and OSHA training preferred.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
