JOB SUMMARY
The Cycle Count Associate is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
The Cycle Count Associate key responsibilities are outlined below:
Reconcile on hand inventory with ERP system by completing daily counts
Document and report daily counts to appropriate departments
Resolve inventory discrepancies by identifying errors and complete proper corrections
Help maintain proper product identification and location accuracy and ability to transfer product to correct location if needed
Communicate and collaborate with other departments and team members
Monitor and control inventory integrity
Thorough research on discrepancy counts
Transfer inventory to appropriate locations using a forklift
Track incoming and outgoing product
Provide inventory control reporting as required
Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
Identify new pick locations to streamline receiving/shipping process
Identify, research and resolve mislabeled parts
Locate misplaced parts to help satisfy sale to customer
Review product on each shelf, clean and replace old unreadable labels
EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand / walk long period of time in a non-climate-controlled environment (warehouse)
Excellent mathematical skills
Familiarity with inventory control
Must be a team player with strong interpersonal communication skills
Good time-management skills and attention to detail
Outstanding written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively present information
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Must have experience driving a forklift and be willing to complete KIOTI forklift training upon hire, previous/active forklift certification highly preferred
