Job Title: Volunteer Services, Event Coordination, and Fundraising Manager

Reports to: Vice President for Communications

About the Role:

The Volunteer Services, Event Coordination, and Fundraising Manager will oversee the recruitment, training, and management of both youth and adult volunteers, coordinate events, and develop and execute fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field.

Proven experience in volunteer management, event coordination, and fundraising.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a nonprofit organization.

Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

Volunteer Services Management:

Recruit, train, and manage youth and adult volunteers.

Develop and implement volunteer policies and procedures.

Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments.

Recognize and reward volunteer contributions.

Event Coordination Management:

Plan, organize, and execute events (e.g., fundraisers, community outreach).

Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful events.

Monitor event budgets and expenses.

Fundraising Management:

Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns.

Correspond with donors and create donor campaigns.

Write thank you letters for donations and follow up with donors to encourage future donations.

Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors.

Track and report on fundraising progress and outcomes
