The Need:
We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our team! The ideal candidate will maintain a collaborative team environment, providing supervision services to a vast team. As a clinical supervisor, you will have the opportunity to create systems that help clients overcome barriers, provide solution-focused counseling, and make a meaningful impact by saving lives.
Responsibilities:
Supervise assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral health concerns, utilizing evidence-based practices and a solution-focused approach.
Supervise individual and group counseling to clients, prioritizing a strengths-based and person-centered approach to support their mental health and well-being.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers.
Foster a team environment by actively managing team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision sessions, and collaborating with colleagues to provide the best possible care to clients.
Promote a growth-oriented culture by engaging in ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling, and seeking opportunities for advancement within the organization.
Break down barriers to access mental health services by ensuring culturally competent and inclusive care to clients from diverse backgrounds and advocating for their needs within the organization and the community.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other required documentation, in accordance with professional standards and agency policies.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing mental health crises or emergencies and coordinate with appropriate resources and services to ensure their safety and well-being.
Qualifications:
Independent State licensure or certification as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent (e.g., LPCC, LISW, LICDC) in accordance with local regulations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds to provide client-centered care.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling.
Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also seeking supervision and consultation when needed.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
