Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Project Architect to their Minneapolis team!
Responsibilities:
Provide input in the development of design and building performance strategy for project team
Contribute to project technical design effort
Develop appropriate research and documents to find creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks
Contribute to the preparation of design documents
Review show drawings, material samples, and CD’s for design conformance
Assist with coordination/integration of project deliverables and support the design concept and performance goals of the project
Perform construction administration duties
Prepare reports/specifications
Review completed reports, plans, cost estimates and calculations
Execute agency review analysis
Participate in client meetings and presentations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in architecture
Master’s degree preferred
5+ years of experience and includes working on small- to large-scale project types
Architectural registration required
Strong graphics skills
Proficient in Revit
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and other industry accepted software
Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite products
Understanding of the healthcare industry, especially in areas of clinical innovation, operational improvement, planning and strategic positioning for complex hospital systems
LEED accreditation preferred
Experience with Lean and Evidence-based design preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
