Debbie's Staffing has a fantastic Temp-to-Hire Opportunity with our client in Winston Salem!

This Machine Operator position is a 1st Shift position that works a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30am â 5:00pm. (Overtime if requested including weekends)

Job Summary Must be able to work with a variety of equipment, first ensuring that they are in good working order. Most work is done by machine, a finishing operator must be able to work with a cutter, stitcher, hole driller, folder, scorer, laminator, binding equipment and shrink wrapper. Hand work may be required as well.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Setting up equipment according to project specifications.

Equipment must be checked before and after each project for possible defects.

Equipment must be cleaned prior to being used on new projects.

Operators also perform regularly scheduled maintenance checks on all equipment. Finishing operators spend much of their day standing.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Operators may also be required to wear protective gear.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to pass all new hire screenings.

Must be able to lift 50lbs the entire shift

Must be ok working in a non-climate-controlled building.

Must be able to stand/walk 8-12 hours per day.

Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.

Must have previous machine operating
