Mendix Developer (Medior / Senior - help us get to net zero)

Job title: Dutch Medior / Senior Mendix Developer

Location: Rotterdam (Hybrid / Remote)

Purpose: Build game-changing Mendix apps that will help companies achieve their sustainability goals

The role:

This is no ordinary Mendix Developer role. This role gives you scope to work on something big and exciting, as well as to personally impact society by contributing to helping the world become a better, cleaner place, achieving net zero with ESG and sustainability solutions in one marketplace of 150 solutions, services, partners and connectors. This marketplace solves the problem of having data in different places and holds it centrally.

You’ll be part of a company that empowers Sustainability leaders to make their organizations more Sustainable. Faster. With their customizable platform and building-block approach, you can collaborate, automate, and truly make a difference, enabling you to find flexible solutions to really complex challenges, delivering true value.

Our client has designed a high-level overview of what they client offer, having created building block applications within and between all of the domains of sustainability and ESG. Within the applications eg, benchmarking, there’s a model to run Net zero scenarios and optimal results/output. Besides that they use Gen AI around text/smart search.

You’ll work with 2 types of customers:

Those starting their sustainability journey and using the end-to-end sustainability management platform

Enterprise customers where you’ll create out-of-the-box solutions filling gaps and unlocking value of existing investments.

We are looking for:

Minimum of 3 years Mendix Development experience, preferably customer facing

Mendix Certification: Advanced or (preferably) Expert

You have a passion for new technologies, in particular smart, innovative and creative web and mobile apps and/or application/software development

A passion for Sustainability. It would be a plus if you have work experience in sustainability.

Ability to work directly with customers

You take initiatives and would like to be challenged to grow, expand your skill set and are not afraid to make mistakes

You desire working with an incredible talented team and have a drive to support and enable exponential growth

Self-motivated with stellar time management while working remotely and at our office in the Netherlands
