Administrative Professional 2 Position Overview
Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative and clerical support to program staff, supervisors, and stakeholders.
As an Administrative Professional 2, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data and file maintenance, reporting, data entry, and document preparation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy will be important in ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures. You will also serve as a resource for lower-level staff, providing guidance and support in handling complex tasks and scenarios.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will interact with internal staff, supervisors, external customers, and vendors, as well as an ability to handle sensitive inquiries and maintain confidentiality. Additionally, you will perform administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, monitoring communication channels, and preparing correspondence.

Division Overview:
OOD’s Division of Policy & Partnerships (DPP) helps the agency navigate our growing partnership landscape effectively while adhering to policies and regulations that govern our work. The division is responsible for leading efforts related to Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) policies, training, providers, interagency partnerships, the federal Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), and Ohio's OOD Council. 18 months' experience or 18 months' training in secretarial/administrative professional field.
-OR completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from accredited career school or community college.
-OR 6 months' experience as Administrative Professional 1, 16871.
-OR equivalent of education and/or experience per Minimum Class Qualifications noted above.
