An active family of 5 is seeking a full-time, live-out chef/house manager for their 5-acre estate in Charlottesville, VA. They also have a second residence in D.C. The children are ages 16, 13, and 10. The oldest is going away to school next year. The ideal candidate will enjoy cooking healthy, casual meals and snacks. The youngest child is athletic and will need a balance of nutritional proteins and carbohydrates. The principals would like an elevated meal prepared specifically for them once or twice a week. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, with seated family-style dinners 2 to 3 times per week at 6:30pm. The candidate will be expected to prepare grab-and-go snacks and easy-to-heat-up dinners for the rest of the week. Due to the limited chef duties, the candidate will also help keep the day-to-day running smoothly. The family is looking to hire in mid-August. Relocation assistance is offered for the right candidate.
