The Revenue Cycle Manager supervises the revenue cycle department.

This involves direct interaction with employees, the clinical staff, funders, and clients.

As such, this position requires high customer-service skills.

This position requires a high attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines, as authorizations and billing must be accurately processed within specific timeframes.

The incumbent must also have the technical ability to work with various programs including databases, word processing programs, and spreadsheets.

The Revenue Cycle Manager plays an integral role in the functioning of the organization and works in concert with the priorities of the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.

A minimum of 5 years of medical billing experience is required.

Bachelor's in finance, healthcare administration, etc.

Licensed CPC is preferred Duties to include but not limited to: Monitor consistency between KIPU EMR and Avea billing data transfer process.

Ensure documentation meets payor requirements, before billing is sent out.

Assist in the EMR build process for new programs and additional services.

Assist in completing and fixing bugs within the EMR system.

Develops, implements, and directly supports the strategic and operational processes required for successful revenue cycle functions.

Develop training materials, processes and instructions for RCM functions Possess understanding of claims processing and claim submission.

Coaches and mentors revenue cycle specialists.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement within the RCM department.

Serves as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle needs.

Collaborates with admissions department to ensure clients are properly funded prior to admission.

Act as the Authorized Representative for ARCAPP and ensure rules are being met.

Understands and stays current on payer requirements and changes in the industry and communicates those changes as well as financial impact to leadership.

Actively identify or anticipate potential issues and challenges and address them accordingly.
