In this strategic role, you will work directly with senior leadership, influence key business decisions, and lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, talent development, and performance management. You will manage a small HR team, collaborate across departments, and help foster a culture focused on flexibility, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic HR partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers across the Central U.S. region.
Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR initiatives that drive employee growth, performance, engagement, and retention.
Lead the resolution of complex employee relations matters while offering ongoing performance coaching and support to managers.
Deliver clear and practical guidance on HR programs, policies, and procedures, supported by a team of Generalists and Coordinators.
Identify trends through HR data and collaborate on the creation of proactive solutions, programs, and policy updates.
Champion change management efforts - crafting communication strategies, facilitating conversations, and supporting leaders and employees through periods of transition.
Promote a positive workplace culture focused on employee engagement, well-being, and inclusion.
Ensure compliance with SOX-related responsibilities, where applicable. Requirements:
At least 7 years of progressive experience navigating and resolving complex employee relations matters.
Broad expertise across key HR functions, including compensation, organizational design, employee relations, DE&I, performance management, and employment law (both federal and state).
Bachelorâ s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field required
Advanced credentials (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or Masterâ s) are a strong plus.
Solid command of U.S. labor and employment regulations with the ability to apply them practically across multiple jurisdictions.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, paired with a high level of emotional intelligence and attention to detail.
Open to occasional travel to support regional offices and leadership teams.
Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and foster productive partnerships at all levels of the organization.
Naturally curious with strong organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
