RN Director of Nursing (DON)

Astoria Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation center an 83 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, located in the heart of Canton, Ohio is currently seeking a dynamic skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Director of Nursing.

Facility is committed to providing individualized, compassionate, and innovative healthcare services that will inspire each Resident to achieve the full and meaningful life they desire.

Ideal candidate will be a change agent with proven leadership skills and transition experience. Candidate will posses prior nurse management experience of 3 years minimum, strong clinical background, proven ability to lead teams, a success track in implementation of systems, maintenance of regulatory of compliance with both state and federal regulations, and insight in respect to recruitment and retention.

Job Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

Departmental Oversight and Direction

Assist in Policy Development and Maintenance

Ensure Compliance with State, Federal, and Local Regulations

Provision and Oversight of Quality Resident Care and Services

Assist with Facility Staffing

Collaborate with all Facility Staff and Leadership

Foster an Environment of Teamwork

Manage and Oversight of Departmental Budgets
