POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr Analyst, Compensation & HRIS is responsible administering and maintaining HR systems for best practice application. This position will also assist in administering compensation programs, including incentive processing and merit distribution. This position will work collaboratively with the HR team, internal partners, and external vendors to continually analyze and develop improved processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May perform any or all of the following duties:
Act as a System Administrator of the HRIS and the primary point of contact for system-related questions
Ensure data integrity including quality, accuracy, security, and usability of employee data and related interfaces by implementing adequate processes, controls, and backup systems
Perform analysis of existing HR systems functionality, recommend, and configure process improvements and system enhancements to optimize the HR system value
Generate reports/queries, including writing of reports utilizing the appropriate reporting tools. Assists in the development of standard reports and dashboards for ongoing needs
Identify, develop, and provide analytics to support the development and refinement of HR initiatives
Maintain optimal function of the HRIS which may include planning, design, development, testing,and deployment as well as maintenance and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users
Manage permissions, access, personalization, and other system settings for HRIS users
Assist with training of end-users including developing training materials, user procedures, and guidelines
Administer the annual merit increase process and partner in recommending market adjustments and compensation structure updates
Administer incentive compensation programs; partner with Finance to obtain related metrics and calculates payments in accordance with plan documents
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES
Must possess approximately five (5) to seven (7) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of HRIS
Prior compensation/benefits experience preferred
Experience working with data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to keep information confidential
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software – strong excel skills preferred
UKG experience highly preferred
Knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and best practices

Sitting for extended periods of time, using telephone, typing and/or operating a computer and/or mouse
