SAP BASIS Data Integration Specialist

Purpose:

The SAP Basis Data Integration Specialist will be responsible for developing technical integration solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Integration Suite, using SAP integration and security standards.

This job position offers the opportunity to work with SAP Cloud technology and a large hybrid landscape with a wider range of integrations, collaborating with the diverse NSG Digital teams.

The successful candidate will gain technical expertise developing and supporting SAP technical integrations and technology standards whilst experiencing and exploring emerging technology trends and SAP BTP services and integration tools.

Essential Functions:

Deliver integration solutions developed on SAP Integration Suite within the project timeline and budget following NSG IS Group Services processes and procedures.

Development of integrations following SAP Business Technology Platform standards and guidelines.

Document the integration solutions following the SAP Basis Integration team guidelines and standards.

Provide quality and proactive support of SAP Basis Integration interfaces to internal customers globally in line with SLA targets.

Proactively communicate with NSG Digital Group Services peers and managers across various business projects and requirements.

Assist Digital Managers and Project Management Office in the creation of integration proposals detailing time and risks involved.

Inform and train other team members on new integrations or changes to the system, including the creation and maintenance of high-quality internal documentation.

Qualifications Required:

Experience working with SAP cloud environments and systems such as SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Integration Suite (formerly known as SAP CPI), SAP Cloud Connector and more.

Extensive practical experience (developing HTTPS/SOAP/REST integrations, maintaining HTTP connectivity, working with external partners, implementing complex solutions)

High level of experience working with adapters such as File, REST, SOAP, WS_AE, IDOC, JDBC, RFC (JCO) and others.

High level of knowledge with protocols such as HTTP(s), SMTP, SFTP, oData.

Experience working with XML, REST APIs, Web Services, oData Services, JSON, Scripting.

Experience working with IT security layers (SSL, TLS, client-certificate based authentication, SAP Cloud best practices, Auth Tokens)

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and independently manage tasks when required.

Capacity to work with challenging projects and high technical developments.

Good troubleshooting skills to assist in finding solutions to technical challenges.

Experience working in multiple projects and tight timelines and deadlines.

A results-oriented and analytical approach with the ability to quickly learn and exploit technology.

Good communication skills to share ideas, knowledge, presentations, etc at a technical and non-technical level.

Experienced in adapting to and thriving within multicultural teams.

Qualifications Desired:

SAP Module and/or SAP Basis knowledge

Basic UNIX, Linux and Windows knowledge

Developer background.

Salary Range: $67,792 - $96,846
