Functional Overview
The Product Operations Team is responsible for ensuring operational excellence by enabling leadership, cross functional teams and individual contributors to be expeditious, flexible, and collaborative. We support bringing pivotal initiatives to life as well as the daily execution of the business. This role is responsible for balancing resources, setting timelines, managing risks, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that projects align with overarching business objectives.
Position Description
In this role the associate is responsible for managing business decisions related to delivering our critical holiday assortment through cross-functional alignment within the business. Leads the creation of the seasonal "Win at Holiday Charter". Responsible for all business communication across the enterprise for "Win at Holiday". Additionally, this associate will support project management of adjacent workstreams where relevant in support of streamlined end to end business processes. Will be required to assemble, empower, and guide project teams, fostering collaboration and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and within scope
Coordinate project elements, manage resources, and communicate progress to team members.
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place
Maintain clear and open communication with collaborators, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
Track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and take corrective action
Create and leads "Win at Holiday Charter" process to ensure all responsible associates are aware of and adhering to deadlines throughout the process.
Leads agenda creation, meeting scheduling and facilitation as well as actions required with cross-functional teams to for next steps.
Responsible for driving critical weekly business meetings and relevant updates.
Develop and maintain documentation on process and hindsight for the "Win at Holiday" season.
Responsible for onboarding new team members to the "Win at Holiday" working process.
Proactively coordinate with peers to identify and share internal process opportunities; support action plans to implement improvements to process.
Ability to identify and resolve project issues, adapt to changes, and overcome challenges
5-7 years of related work experience in retail roles that relate to the areas of merchandising, retail sales, product development, planning, finance or related field experience
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial for motivating teams and engaging stakeholders
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills are essential for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Strong communicator with attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritize, proactively manage time to support evolving critical tasks
Demonstrate ability to organize and follow through on projects in a timely and efficient manner
Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
Ability to partner and communicate cross-functionally to form relationships with peers, direct reports and leadership teams
Ability to create, implement, track and communicate new processes
Exceptional ability to bridge and enhance coordinated working relationships
Ability to manage through conflict and problem-solve
Software and computer proficiency (MS Office, Outlook, Adobe InDesign)
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
