The Department of Accounting & Management Information Systems (AMIS) delivers a portfolio of courses, services, and research in support of our mission and the Fisher College of Business. The Academic Program Coordinator plays a critical role in the operations of our department by providing key administrative and academic support to the department chair, program directors, and faculty. This support often involves budgeting, facilitating meetings, and assisting with the annual review process and letters, etc. Coordinates processes such as promotion and tenure, PhD admissions, and course scheduling.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 4 years’ experience working in an administrative and/or academic capacity. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team; strong analytical, organizational, time management, interpersonal, and customer service skills; ability to multi-task, solve problems and appropriately deal with conflict; a commitment to excellence with excellent judgement with regard to people and priorities; proficiency with Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams.
Desired Qualifications
Experience at The Ohio State University; Knowledge of Workday, SIS (student information system) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
Additional Information:
The target hiring range for this job profile is $51,000 - $67,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
