IT Software/System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled IT professional with one of our clients with a solid background in ERP systems management, who will play a key role in our transition from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Business Central. This position also provides support across our IT infrastructure and serves as a backup to the Systems Administrator. As a growing manufacturer of food labels with multiple locations, this role offers excellent growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain, and support ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics GP, Business Central, and proprietary production software, along with related SQL databases.

Lead software implementations, upgrades, and system migrations.

Support network infrastructure, server environments (VMware, virtual servers), and ensure overall system security.

Deliver day-to-day support for PCs, printers, email systems, telephony, and remote access tools (VPN).

Administer cloud and security systems, including Microsoft Azure, FortiGate firewalls, and Synology backup and recovery solutions.

Identify, research, and implement new technologies to drive operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures.

Collaborate with external vendors and consultants on specialized IT projects and system enhancements.

Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform additional IT duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Proficiency in Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, Office 365, and VMware ESXi.

Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Business Central, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Background in software implementation and migration is strongly preferred.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical users.
