We are looking for a Civil or Environmental Engineer (PE) with 8–15 years of experience to join their growing Sarasota / Lakewood Ranch / Tampa operations.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the firm’s President and senior leadership on high-impact, cutting-edge projects, including:
OneWater and sustainable water/wastewater/reclaimed water solutions
Pilot studies and innovative environmental technologies
Design-build delivery and advanced asset management
Smart utility consulting, decision-support tools, and AI applications

Position Overview:
You’ll collaborate on all facets of engineering and project execution—design, modeling, pilot testing, permitting, construction support—as well as business development, client engagement, and internal operations. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow into senior roles such as Technical Lead, Project Manager, or Client Services Manager.
Responsibilities:
Lead or support engineering calculations, 3D designs, assessments, and master planning
Serve as Project Manager or Technical Lead depending on project scope
Oversee permit applications, technical reports, stakeholder outreach, and construction support
Assist in business development, proposals, scheduling, budgeting, and presentations
Coordinate with clients, internal teams, vendors, and subconsultants
Travel locally for site visits, pilot studies, and client meetings as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Minimum of 6 years of experience in related engineering work
Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 4 months
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Strong communication and project management skills
Experience overseeing engineering and CADD support staff
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD 3D, GIS, modeling, or database tools
Master’s degree in water/wastewater, water resources, or site development
Prior project management experience or training
