Description:

Responsibilities:

1.Plan, install, maintain, and optimize high-power electrical systems at Bitcoin mining sites, including transformers, switchgear, PDUs, cooling systems, and crypto mining rigs.

2.Perform on-site inspection and troubleshooting of electrical components to ensure mining farm uptime, power quality, and system stability.

3.Conduct electrical system load analysis, fault detection, and corrective action planning to mitigate voltage drops, phase imbalance, overheating, and harmonic distortion issues.

4.Assemble, diagnose, repair, and maintain crypto mining rigs (ASICs, GPUs) and associated power delivery systems.

5.Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, update diagrams following modifications or repairs, and document all changes per site protocols.

6.Apply principles of Electric Power Quality and Power System Stability & Control to optimize mining farm electrical performance under heavy continuous load.

7.Develop autonomous cyber-physical monitoring systems for real-time analysis of energy consumption, equipment performance, and fault prediction.

8.Lead and execute Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures to safely isolate and service high-voltage systems according to regulatory and site-specific standards.

9.Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks at an expert level to design and revise mechanical and electrical layouts for mining site upgrades or expansions.

10.Analyze mining system and production line stability and reliability, proposing design or procedural changes to maximize operational efficiency.

11.Utilize Python programming for data collection, mining farm performance analytics, and predictive maintenance modeling.

12.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (site operations, mechanical teams, IT) to integrate hardware upgrades, firmware optimizations, and facility-level system improvements.

13.Support blockchain-related energy tracking initiatives through the application of blockchain technology to mining energy consumption records.

14.Apply Rehabilitation Engineering principles for safer and more ergonomic designs of workspaces, maintenance platforms, and access systems.

15.Maintain compliance with all environmental, safety, and electrical code regulations relevant to high-load mining operations.

16.Stay current with industry developments in mining hardware, energy system reliability techniques, optoelectronic sensor technologies, and RF-based communication systems.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.

2.Solid foundation in:

-Electric Power Quality

-Power System Stability & Control

-Reliability of Energy Systems

-Application of Blockchain in energy systems

-Autonomous Cyber-Physical Systems

3.Practical experience with:

-Crypto mining rigs assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting

-Crypto mining farm infrastructure support and upgrades

-Electrical and mechanical schematic reading and interpretation

-Machine design, 3D printing, and mechanical drafting

4.Expertise in:

-AutoCAD and SolidWorks (expert level design and drafting)

-Python programming for technical data analysis and application

-Using electronic instruments (multimeters, thermal cameras, oscilloscopes)

-Using mechanical and power tools safely and effectively

5.Hands-on knowledge of industrial safety standards and proper application of LOTO procedures.

6.Ability to perform site-level system optimization, failure analysis, and preventive maintenance strategies.

7.Familiarity with microwave and RF circuits (preferred) for internal communication and remote monitoring at mining sites.

8.Strong technical writing skills for maintenance documentation, incident reports, and engineering proposals.

9.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-demand, time-sensitive mining farm environments.

10.Willingness to work on-site in industrial, high-energy environments with potential exposure to extreme temperatures and continuous machine noise.
