Position: Electrical Engineer II

Location: Hagerstown, MD *** LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY ***

Setting: Onsite

Contract Length: 6 months

Contract Rate: $46.88/hour (W2)

Duties:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field. You will research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy, and improve cutting-edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft systems. You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle of fully integrated systems.

You will be part of a team that provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection, and security solutions worldwide. The team has a long legacy of supporting government, commercial, and international customers and has years of experience in platform operations, engineering, and full lifecycle management across domains—air, land, sea, space, and cyber.

Required Education & Skills:

- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline, and

- Typically, 3 or more years of relevant experience

- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

- Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools

- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis

- Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical (preferred), AutoCAD, or others

- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)

- Knowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)

- Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to, model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
