Quality Control Inspector

Position: Quality Control (QC) Inspector

Job Type: Direct Hire

Location: Shreveport, LA 71129

Compensation: $45,000 – $49,920 annually

Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Start/end time negotiable)

Round 1: Phone Interview

Round 2: In-Person Interview with Hands-On Inspection Test

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional inspections on mechanical components using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators

Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, critical dimension reports, and technical documentation

Review and process Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed

Complete and maintain inspection reports, mechanical checklists, and quality documentation

Ensure traceability of all component parts, including verifying MTRs (Material Test Reports), NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) certificates, and coatings documentation

Work within the framework of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

2+ years of hands-on dimensional inspection experience using precision measuring instruments

Proficiency in interpreting and applying engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications

Experience with NCR processing

Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards (strongly preferred)

Understanding of material traceability, MTRs, and NDT documentation

Knowledge of industrial coatings is a plus
