Robotics Technician

One of our esteemed clients is looking for a Robotic Weld Technician. The ideal candidate will ensure that equipment is well-maintained, quality is upheld, and production requirements are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

Set up, teach, troubleshoot, and adjust robots, weld controllers, and other equipment using PLCs and HMIs.

Assist with equipment, component, and tooling changeovers, and provide support to ensure smooth production runs.

Adjust MIG, Spot, and Arc Brazing schedules on various weld controllers.

Perform daily preventative maintenance to ensure machines produce quality parts.

Participate in continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with TS16949 standards and ISO 14001 environmental guidelines.

Adhere to all legislative requirements of MIOSHA and be accountable for specific Health & Safety responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary diploma from a technical college in Robotics, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience with strong PLC skills, and experience working with Motoman & Fanuc robots, and Allen Bradley PLCs.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, read blueprints, and solve problems effectively.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and interact with all levels of employees in the organization.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
