Quality Control Technician II (Pharmaceutical)

Job Title: Quality Control Technician II

Location: Swiftwater, PA- 18370

Duration: 12 months contract

1st Shift: 9AM - 5PM, M-F

We are seeking a technical professional with 1–3 years of experience to work onsite full-time in Swiftwater, PA. The ideal candidate will have a background in Life Sciences or Engineering, and demonstrated experience in instrument commissioning and qualification, preferably within a cGMP laboratory environment. A strong technical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and effective communication and documentation skills are essential due to the highly regulated and collaborative nature of the role. The candidate should also have experience or familiarity with Air Particle Counters (APCs) and be capable of supporting the implementation and optimization of Environmental Monitoring (EM) systems in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Support the installation and qualification of Air Particle Counters used in monitoring cleanroom environments for airborne particulates.

Help optimize Environmental Monitoring (EM) practices and ensure the right equipment is installed and running properly.

Execute testing and qualification protocols under cGMP regulations—document everything meticulously.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in QC and other departments to troubleshoot or validate equipment.

Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and stay up to date on compliance and SOP training.

Maintain high-quality documentation, following regulatory best practices (data integrity, FDA/EMA standards).

Utilize MS Office tools to track data, create reports, and communicate findings with team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering

1–3 years of experience in GMP-regulated labs

Comfortable with required vaccinations (flu)

Nice to Have:

Experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical manufacturing

Experience working with QC instruments in a regulated lab
