As our Process Improvement Engineer, you'll be a key player in driving efficiency, slashing costs, and elevating the quality of our products. What You'll Do:

Master the Process: Develop crystal-clear work instructions that ensure consistent and repeatable process execution across the board.

Optimize Every Second: Conduct meticulous time studies to pinpoint bottlenecks and unlock opportunities for cycle time reduction.

Orchestrate Production Flow: Analyze and expertly balance production lines to maximize throughput, eliminate inefficiencies, and create a seamless workflow.

Drive Breakthrough Improvements: Identify, develop, and implement impactful process enhancements that boost efficiency, minimize waste, and elevate product quality to new heights.

Unlock Insights with Data: Dive deep into production data, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), to identify trends, root causes of issues, and data-driven solutions.

Champion Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a vibrant culture of continuous improvement by actively engaging employees in problem-solving initiatives and fostering a mindset of ongoing optimization.

Ensure Accurate Costing & Planning: Maintain and meticulously update Bill of Materials (BOM) routing and costing information within SAP, guaranteeing precise cost calculations and efficient production planning.

Maximize Production Potential: Analyze production capacity to proactively identify constraints, strategically allocate resources, and ensure we consistently meet delivery targets.

What You'll Bring:

A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, demonstrating your ability to drive real change.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving prowess – you love dissecting challenges and finding effective solutions.

Fluency in data analysis tools (think Excel, Minitab, SQL, Power BI) to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

The ability to thrive both independently and as a vital member of a high-performing team.

A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, with specific knowledge of welding and assembly operations being a significant plus.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and the Kaizen methodology, showcasing your commitment to efficiency and waste reduction.

Strong project management and organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple initiatives effectively.

Experience working with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) projects, demonstrating your understanding of product development processes.

Knowledge of essential quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Bonus Points If You Have:

3+ years of experience specifically within the automotive manufacturing industry.

Direct experience in exhaust system manufacturing.

A strong grasp of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and application.

Proficiency in automation and robotics technologies.

Hands-on experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Proficiency in SolidWorks for the design of fixtures and gauges.

In-depth knowledge of welding processes and procedures.

Experience in robotic programming and operation.
