We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager for our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Macon, GA.

This position is responsible for leading and managing project engineering (Engineering and Technical stewardship); and ensuring that optimum facilities and manufacturing processes/lines are working.

Primary responsibilities include:

Lead, direct, and coordinate all facilities construction and new manufacturing equipment installations.

Provide functional stewardship/oversight for all aspects of Engineering.

Initiate/commercialize process development projects, ensuring continuous improvement.

Implement quality improvement and cost reduction projects.

Develop design criteria for new equipment.

Ensure that the business operation has the engineering/technical capability for meeting future business requirements.

Maintain a safe work environment, actively involved in improving safety systems and eliminating the causes of accidents.

Must exhibit a strong attention to detail in all aspects of role.

Education, experience, and skills required include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.

Eight to ten years minimum manufacturing experience required: preferably in a continuous process plant environment.

Strong technical aptitude and project management skills are musts.

Communication and interpersonal skills area key, as this position must/ will interact with many different functions and levels within and outside the organization.

A good teacher/mentor and team leader/builder

Capable of handling directly or indirectly, multiple tasks and projects.

Strong computer and analytical skills.

Manufacturing and project costing experience.

Demonstrated success in leading multidiscipline technical organizations in a manufacturing environment.
