Telecom System Technician

Looking for a Telecom System Technician - Fully Onsite- Appleton WI

accepting on W2 candidates, No C2C candidates

Key Responsibilities

Provision routers and integrate them remotely into a complex telecom network.

Build router configuration files for remote access and activation.

Collaborate with field engineers to bring new equipment online.

Perform transport and fiber testing to ensure signal integrity and performance.

Operate switching, data communications, and MSC peripheral equipment.

Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders to meet project milestones.

Maintain trackers and provide project updates in real time.

Must-Have Skills

Strong TCP/IP networking fundamentals.

Experience with router provisioning.

Familiarity with telecom switch operations.

Proficiency in basic computer tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Verizon Wireless switching systems.

Hands-on knowledge of Cisco, Ciena routers, and Ericsson AMOS configurations.

Education

Degree in Electronics, Electronics Engineering, or Telecommunications (preferred but not required).
