Pay Range: $23-$25/hr

Type: Temp-to-Permanent

About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Test Technician to join our dynamic team in Bradenton. This role is crucial in validating and integrating electronic hardware systems and associated software before they reach customers—the last line of defense for quality assurance.

You’ll work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to execute test plans, document results, and support the development of testing infrastructure and fixtures.

What You’ll Do:

Perform validation and integration testing of electronic hardware and software systems

Execute test cases using suite software; log results and defects

Assist with test infrastructure builds, installations, and configurations

Collaborate with Test Engineers to define special tests and system builds

Troubleshoot systems and test setups independently

Design and build lab infrastructure and test fixtures

Ensure defects are documented with enough detail for reproduction

Participate in test documentation and continuous process improvements

Must-Have Qualifications:

Technical/STEM background from school or 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electronics or hardware testing

Familiarity with basic electronics principles (Ohm’s Law, voltage/current measurement, etc.)

Ability to use tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and programmable power supplies

Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn

Able to interpret documentation, ask insightful questions, and work independently

Excellent communication and soft skills—you’ll collaborate closely with engineering and production teams

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with black box testing, validation, and integration testing

Background in working with new product development and frequent product iterations

Associate’s degree or technical certification in electronics, engineering, or a related field
