Job Purpose

The Dayforce Product Owner will provide ownership and ongoing support for Dayforce, understanding core system functions, architecture and the Dayforce support model. This role is responsible for the effective delivery, management and ongoing improvement of Dayforce while partnering with the affiliate firms to understand and meet their needs

Primary Responsibilities:

HCM Product Ownership

Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT Leaders, Dayforce and end user users to develop and maintain product roadmaps including any new product releases.

Serve as Project Lead to ensure alignment of features and functions within Dayforce to the goals of FAC Services and firms.

Manage and maintain the integrity of the HCM system, including data input, validation, reporting, back up and restore processes, and EDI file feeds.

Deliver HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to support HR and business objectives and strategic decision-making.

Lead audits and ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies and regulations, as well as best practices for data management and governance.

Support user adoption by providing training and communication on how to use the HCM system effectively and efficiently.

Oversee maintenance of Dayforce HUBs including changes and updates.

Manage deployments of HCM system updates. Research and evaluate new features and enhancements of the HCM system, and recommend and implement solutions to improve the user experience and business outcomes.

Engage in documenting, tracking and prioritizing changes needed to support additional implementations

Collaborate with HR, Payroll & Benefit teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data and payroll transactions. This includes troubleshooting as needed.

Lead the change management process by maintaining exhaustive records of feature requests, raised issues, test results, and configuration changes.

Run impact analyses for proposed configuration changes and make recommendations on deployment sequences based on the results.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HCM and HR analytics. Understand and support Dayforce solution architecture (data and integrations).

Refine, document and own standard operating procedures

Subject Matter Expert for all things Dayforce including the oversight of security.

Track and own product backlog and production support ticket requests submitted to Dayforce.

Coordinate issue resolution and/or product changes with Dayforce Managed Services

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Management Information Systems, HR or related field, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred.

Requires at least 2 years of Dayforce configuration and support experience

8-10 years of experience in HRIS administration, configuration, and reporting, preferably with Ceridian or Dayforce HRIS.

Experience in software configuration, implementation, and change management operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

In-depth knowledge of payroll, benefits, and human resources reporting requirements across the United States, including EEOC and PPACA.

Very strong working knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices, and how they relate to HRIS functionality and data.

Proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and SQL.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Extensive experience with business requirements gathering and documentation.

Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and software issue resolution techniques.

Experience with configuration, enhancements, upgrades, testing and post-production support to trouble-shoot issues in Dayforce with some technical expertise as well as functional experience.

Broad knowledge of programming languages and techniques, and data privacy practices and laws.

Demonstrated knowledge of solution architecture concepts and principles

Demonstrated ability to translate technology into business terms and to influence outcomes with key stakeholders.

Strong and effective communication skills with the ability to communicate to parties from various levels and backgrounds.

Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills.
