Position: Project Manager – Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Location: Princeton, NJ 08540 (3 Days Onsite Role)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Cloud Project Manager with a background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. The ideal candidate will lead digital marketing projects using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, managing multi-channel campaign delivery, patient and HCP engagement strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will serve as the bridge between commercial teams, IT, and marketing agencies, ensuring flawless execution of pharma marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end implementation and execution of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions tailored for pharmaceutical campaigns.
Manage marketing automation projects using Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., brand teams, regulatory, compliance) and external partners (e.g., agencies, vendors).
Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and status tracking for digital marketing campaigns.
Ensure campaign assets and journeys adhere to pharma regulations (e.g., FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other pharma tech platforms (e.g., Veeva, Adobe, MDM).
Facilitate sprint planning, UAT, QA, deployment, and performance monitoring.
Analyze campaign data and performance metrics to inform optimization strategies.
Serve as subject matter expert on pharmaceutical marketing best practices and compliance guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2–3 years in Marketing Cloud and pharma/life sciences.
Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Email Studio.
Proven experience in managing digital marketing initiatives in regulated environments.
Familiarity with pharma CRM, HCP marketing, patient support programs, or omnichannel campaigns.
Proficient in project management tools: Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications: Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant.
Experience with Veeva CRM, Adobe Experience Cloud, or other pharma tech ecosystems.
Understanding of data privacy and promotional guidelines in pharma (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, GxP).
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or related field. MBA or PMP is a plus.
