Manufacturing Engineer- $50,000 – $55,000 per year, depending on experience - Newton, NC
The Role

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and play a key role in supporting production, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement. An engineering degree is preferred but not essential—we’re more interested in your practical skills, initiative, and willingness to learn.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll work across the plant floor to support production efficiency, quality control, and lean projects. You’ll assist with prototypes, work closely with maintenance and lab teams, and help improve organisation across operations.
Note: This is an entry-level position.
Key Responsibilities:
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues
Assist with prototype development and implementation
Perform inventory counts and support stock accuracy
Inspect in-process and finished goods for cosmetic or quality defects
Collaborate with lab technicians to resolve product issues
Use test equipment and measurement tools to ensure specifications are met
Help organise and optimise production floor layout.

The Person
Requirements
Working knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and refrigeration
Experience in metal fabrication
Comfortable using basic tools and measurement/test equipment
Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the business
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
